So Dee requested a first trip out to AREA BFE and the group went out to help create a new trail that will basically circle the property. We started out at the Helldorado gatekeeper obstacle.

Here’s Susan making her way through. You can see how filled in it is, pretty easy.

In fact, I made it from the traditional entrance at the bottom. That rock is a bit tricky to get around but Redroxx made it after a few attempts.

And the big fat jeep in BFE has to climb over most everything as she can’t quite squeeze through.

Next was Dee’s turn. Look how shiny that TJ is! Some new paint, new clear coat. What could happen?!?

A small wheel lift, that’s to be expected. Pose for the camera Dee, looks cool.

Umm….still smiling but this doesn’t feel quite as good as a moment before. You want me to keep coming?

Yikes! This feels nasty and you want me to still keep coming? You’re kidding, right?

Well, Dee did keep coming and with a bit of wheel work, her Jeep came down on all 4 wheels. Yes, it is AREA BFE after all and if you’re not scared, you’re not trying. Nice job and off we go up Minor Threat to Major Threat (ie EZ Squeezy)

Some new friends from Colorado joined us but kept it on the blue route and tip-toed, cheering encouragement but probably thinking we’re completely crazy.

As Jim is about to demonstrate…..

I guess so. You still technically have 3 tires making contact somewhere. Also, your drivelines look fine!

What do you think of EZ Squeezy Chaco? He says next time he wants to ride with Mom, that was a big scary!

Also, please congratulate Gary Lee for making it up Suicide Hill for the first time, setting the bar even higher for the group. I’m waiting on the video from Dee as I was too nervous to take photos and was expecting to see a flip over. Thanks all and see ya on the trail.
