Out to Area BFE once again with a group of Samurais and 2 BFJs. Yes, I said two as Redroxx was joined by David Adams in his GRNJP.
We started out on the Gatekeeper obstacle, a nice, fun warm-up. Here’s Susan showing the way.
And Gary Lee in Over EZ.
Then up Minor Threat and over to my favorite obstacle, Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy. Here’s Jeff making it up and over the top.
Now comes Dave Adams in his big CJ with his first attempt over EZ Squeezy. Lookin’ good!

More fun is to be had on Green Day with a trip up this optional side obstacle. It’s like Double Whammy on steroids. Hurrah!
The Green Day waterfall decided to be especially cruel today. Several of us slid off the line. Susan and Gary Lee drove it spot-on while the rest of us struggled. Here’s Jeff on his side. I went over this way too but was able to back up onto my wheels again and give it another go, finally making it. I hope someone sends a photo to me?!?
Jeff needed a pull to straighten him out.
Here’s David who also made it up….with a bit of a struggle.
Right around the corner from the Green Day waterfall is another rocky climb. Susan finds herself in a difficult spot.
But, after a big wheel lift, she made it up successfully.
Gary Lee picked all the right lines today and was the driver of the day, driving every obstacle flawlessly.
Here’s the group, working their way down the back of Upper Green Day.
After finishing Green Day, we decided to go down Lockjaw, just for a different path and John’s “Monster” broke down. It was an easy fix though and pretty soon, we were back on our way.
We made our way back up to the AREA BFE entrance and couldn’t quite leave without a few turns on the Test area with lots of fun ledges and challenges.
This obstacle was especially difficult and defeated all of our group that tried it.
Well, it was another great day on the trail and we’re all looking forward to more fun on the Memorial Day weekend.
